The main principle of this type of machines is the way we can feed signatures directly to the stacker magazine. There is no bending of the products and therefore low risk of marking. Increasing efficiency of the system a detector for misfolded signatures is integrated into the infeed area, via a divert gate that is placed between the pressing rolls allowing misfolded signatures to be taken off automatically. To enable perfect stack production we have added lateral and back shingling devices. The forks that carry the products whilst stacking are lowered by a photo cell in small increments; this ensures the stack isn't able to drop by a large amount therefore consistent accurate stacks are produced. The feeding of signatures precisely to the magazine is carried out by a pair of separately driven shafts with 38 mounted rubber wheels; this allows our unit to run thin paper or smaller formats. Products can be fed in a shingle stream or as single signatures giving total flexibility. As the pushing process is started into the banding machine the stacking process is resumed. The pusher unit is driven by a numeric controlled servo drive allowing the operator full flexibility in changing pushing speed thus allowing faster production at the banding station.

The DESTA package delivery PAB 800 series is used for middle and big range quantities, fitting to all folders and saddle stitchers in a working width of 500, 800 and 1000mm. Special equipment on request. It is possible to add on a palletizing system.
